Simon Rees has been performing in a number of Torbay Hotels over the past 18 years and has built up a solid reputation as one of the most popular cabaret artists in the bay. ‘Simon was recommended to us in 2008 and consequently we contacted him and booked him for the 2009 season. We soon realised that Simon is an excellent entertainer. He is tall, dark and handsome, and very charismatic, he is a real crowd pleaser as he sings and dances involving everyone in the room.
Simon is very reliable and he always arrives on time, he is also willing to play on if the crowd desires. Simon is extremely friendly and as well as being a very good singer he is very versatile, reads his crowd and adjusts his act accordingly.
During his two 45 min slots that Simon does for us, he performs all sorts of music for singing and dancing, he encourages people to join in and tries to involve everyone but he is not pushy if they prefer not to. Simon also does a short specialised Elvis act which is superb and very funny too.
This is now the seventh year that Simon has been with us and we would certainly be happy to recommend him to anyone’.
