Wedding at The Grand
Well, what can we say…..thank you so much for what was for us the best day of our lives.
People are still talking about you Simon, everyone loved the day, and the entertainment was second to none. You were particularly popular with the ladies (I knew you would be!), but the hilarious photos which have been generated tell it all. Our photographer even took a short video of our nephew James as Elvis….brilliant!
But you need to know (I’m sure you do) that your singing and entertaining just had everyone wanting more, so much so, we would love to know where you will be performing in the next couple of months in the Paignton/Torquay area so that we can come and see you again. Many of our guests had never visited the West Country before but now have the bug…..you have a new bunch of groupies.
We will look out for you and look forward to meeting you again, you made our evening so special and we will not forget it, as my dad put it “worth every penny”. You are a star and words cannot express our gratitude.
Hope to see you in the near future, but in the meantime, keep doing what you do best!

We knew we wanted something extra special for our evening entertainment to match the magic of our special day and in Simon Rees we found it and some!
When we spoke to Simon for the first time he was a true gentleman, a pleasure to get to know and someone to whom Katy (my wife) and I grew to be more like a friend than a wedding singer.
Simon was open to all suggestions as to what songs we wanted and even agreed to learn one of Katy and mines all time favourite songs. It was a song that Simon had never heard of but from the superb performance on our wedding night you wouldn’t have known. Simon had not only learnt the song, found a backing track but put the emotion and power into the song that was necessary and we were truly amazed.
Although we had already agreed to have Simon as our wedding singer on the strength of his songs you can play on the internet he invited us to come and watch him perform in Exeter just to make sure we had made the right decision. On arriving at the gig Simon made us feel extremely welcome and we even got to know his wonderful wife and friends. It was an absolutely brilliant night. We came away from the night absolutely buzzing. We were so excited about our wedding before this, but after seeing Simon couldn’t wait for him to be the highlight of our evening entertainment.
Simon kept in regular communication with us and when he performed at our wedding he was the best we had ever seen him (I’d even seen him a few months before at another wedding!). Simon was fantastic. Not only did he get everyone onto the dance floor, but he made everyone smile and have a great time. Weeks after the wedding people were still coming up to us to ask about Simon and comment on how brilliant he was.
Our Wedding was great before Simon performed but afterwards it was truly perfect. We couldn’t have wished for anymore.
If you’re thinking of having Simon Rees…..don’t think, just do it….you won’t regret it!!

Friday night was incredible and I only wish we’d booked you for longer! Our guests loved listening to you and seeing you perform and it made our reception feel extremely special. George and I want to firstly thank you for everything this weekend, you were fantastic and definitely made our big day perfect!
Everyone had a wonderful time and seeing everyone up on the floor dancing and smiling was truly amazing and so much fun.

Simon is an energetic, captivating and professional performer. Our guests could not stop watching him and the guests that he had got to volunteer for pieces of his performance.
It was important to us that people got invloved in our evening reception and had FUN and that our singer performed music of our choice. Simon certainly made sure of this. He sat with us to pick our song list and made sure plenty of our wedding party were involved in something fun! We lost count of how many people commented on how good our wedding singer was! My Uncle even tried to book him there and then for a wedding this summer!

The party absolutely rocked and every single person we have spoken to about the wedding has said what a wonderful performance you gave and what a great time they had.
You managed to get everybody up and dancing and really letting their hair down. Everybody from Alec’s 89 year old Grandma Madge, to the youngest guest (23 year old cousin) loved your performance. In particular you definitely made an impression on Grandma Madge – the personal attention that you gave her (including the peck on the cheek) made her day .. and a highlight for me was when you had her on the microphone and she said ‘if I was 50 years younger …’.
… it really was a great party. And thank you for really helping tailor it to our wishes – I certainly will never forget the ‘ushers dance off’ which I know you pulled together under very short notice.

Fantastic performance
Well Simon, where do we start, Anthony and I would like to thank you for the fantastic performance you gave at our Wedding on 22nd July. You kept the dance floor full all evening and entertained everyone from the five year olds to the seventy five year olds.
The children (and adults) enjoyed joining in with the musical instruments and the women certainly enjoyed the Hip Shakin,! Everyone has said how much they enjoyed the entertainment and Anthony and I both agree you were the perfect end to a perfect day.
We would recommend Simon to anyone looking for entertainment for their special occasion. He was worth every penny and both himself and his wife Nathalie are one of the nicest couples you could meet.
They were relaxed, friendly and professional and filled us with every confidence that our Evening Reception would be fantastic, which it was.
